Our institution which was established mainly for the welfare of village women is situated under the foot of the Western Ghats which is surrounded by natural beauty. From 1951 to 2001, it has rendered great service and celebrated its golden jubilee and it is marching towards its diamond jubilee.

As it was established in year 1951 it is recognized as one of the reputed institutions catering to the higher learning of girls residing in the suburban and village. More over it contains excellent infrastructure, competent facility and enthusiastic students. Our institution also posses well equipped laboratories also posses well equipped laboratories for botany, zoology, physics and chemistry. Not only that, it also has spacious class rooms for teaching psychology and conducting its related experiments. It also has well designed library with thousands of books on almost all the subject.

According to the member of students there is a well devised computer lab with many computers with internet facility. Students are given practice not only for students but also for the extracurricular activities like yoga, scout & guide, arts & craft, national service scheme, dance music etc. which are practiced by competent faculty who are specialized in the particular field.

Apart from these there is a play ground with swing, slide etc for the students to play and entertain. We are very much placed to uniform that we have purify in our campus to provide good drinking water for both the staff and students.

It has “Carmel Garden” with many trees, jasmine plants and herbal garden. For the refreshment of the students there are love birds, color fish, a pond for the ducks to swim. Cattle rearing are also done here from which the hostel students are provided with milk and vegetables from own garden.

The institution has designated a staff member to assist every ten students so that individual cares to each and every student. Students are encouraged and motivated to participate I academic as well as cultural and competitions which provides a them a platform to express their creative side.
